12+18+24 / DIN 630 rigid stranding line for making round or straight sector shaped conductors, in copper or aluminium. The line was designed for 70....1000 mm² aluminium. Line speed : 16....65 m/min Finished product diameter : 9,9....38,5 mm Wire diameter : 1,6 to 6,5 mm (Aluminium) Line has been used in a HV cable factory in Germany, who closed finally one operation. Bobbins are DIN 630 ie. - Flange dia. :630 mm - OAW : 475 mm - Bore : 127 mm The 3 cages are driven by line shaft, with one common motor. Product is pulled by double wheel capstan 1600 mm, equipped with gear box for lay-length control. The line comes with a spool loading system (gantry frame with bobbin handling moving along the line). After each cage, there is a compacting head for one pair of rollers. These rollers were used for round HV or sector shaped (straight) conductors.
