NIEHOFF Modern Rod Break Down Drawing Line, Model MSM85 (Year 2011) (Ref : PHT3MQ)

AS NEW, MSM85 model from NIEHOFF designed for drawing copper alloys rod and spooling on DIN800 spools. 12 dies machine, no slip, with 12 AC motors 46 kW allowing variable elongation for each step. Machine could be used also for other materials like Alu, Al alloys or Cu. It was originally purchased to draw 6.86 mm SnCu alloys (510 N/mm²) into finished wire sizes from 0.89-2.42 mm, at speed up to 15 m/sec. Speed could be increased by working higher frequency on AC drives. Each motor is indeed designed for 6500 RPM while running 1500. Machine was made new in 2011, installed & commissioned but never used in production as business shutdown suddenly.
