DRATEX (Wardwell) 16 C Braiding Line, Model 1615/7 (year 2001) (Ref : QXS9ZJ)

Modern 16-C braider suitable for braiding copper or aluminium wire with 16 spools. Spools are 80 mm OD x 100 mm overall width (80 mm traverse) with 22 mm ID. Cable is up to 14 mm diameter and braiding speed 50 to 150 RPM, electronically controlled. It is driven by AC motor 2.2 kW. Product is pulled by capstan, separately driven for making lay-length from 3 to 60 mm, continously adjustable. It has built-in pay-off and take-up for DIN 800 mm drums. Machine is equipped with hydraulic lubrication pump & built-on electrical panel. It has also longidutinal taping facility.
