NORTHAMPTON Planetary Cabler 8 + 16 Bobbins (457 mm) (Ref : D5AXCP)

This planetary cabler is based on 2 cages of respectively 8 & 16 bobbins. It is designed for laying-up light core cables like FO or equivalent with backtwist. Line was made originally in 1984 by Northampton for FO. It was upgraded recently with new taping heads and take-up, and used lately for cabling special cables for aeropspace & military application. Equipment is part of a complete factory stopping activity in UK. It is operating till October 2017.
