High-speed cross binder with torsion blocker, for optimal fixation of SZ-stranded elements. The Roblon cross binder applies two yarns simultaneously in a single binding point. Excellent balancing of the binder head and centering of the yarn package enables very high binding speed with minimal vibrations. The tension control is highly accurate and constant regardless of bobbin diameter and rotating speed, which is extremely important to avoid damaging the loose tubes before and after extrusion. Eyelets and crucial touch points in the binder, where the yarn is being guided onto the cable, are designed to smoothen the binding process and eliminate the build-up of yarn filaments or swellable powder in the binder.
