MAILLEFER High Speed Quadding Line for Railways Quads, Model TC (Ref : PXU8JL)
The line has been designed for production of high quality quads at high speed and is based on the principles of double twist stranding on take-up and variable backtwist on pay-offs.
Line is typically made for producing quads with wire sizes from 0.3 to 1.2 mm copper and insulated cores of 2.5 mm maximum.
It is also defined for final cable diameter of 6 mm maximum.
The take-up can accomodate a DIN 630 mm bobbin. Bobbin is taken between pintles.
The 4 rotating pay-offs can take bobbins of 500 mm. Bobbins are hold on shaft.
Bow rotating speed is set by potentiometer and stranding speed is defined at 4000 twists/min maximum.
Bobbin is driven directly from own DC motor and lay-length is selected stepless and electronically from operator panel, defining at same time the linear speed. Linear speed is maximum 500 m/min.
Backtwist rate is selected by potentiometer and common for all 4 pay-offs.
The 4 pay-offs are driven by a same & single motor.
