Heavy duty double twist machine made by Northampton for DIN 800 mm bobbins. Suitable for bunching or stranding copper wires 0,50 mm² (16 x 0.20 mm) up to 16 mm² (7 x 1,70 mm). Machine is driven by one single DC motor 40 kW, to drive bow, capstan & bobbin. Capstan is double wheel, with change gears for lay from 12,5 .... 200 mm Machine can then also be used for cabling insulated cores.
