Modern double twist machine, with 4 motors, for stranding or cabling operations. Stranding/Bunching : - Wire diameter from 0,2 up to 2,14 mm (annealed or hard copper) - Wire material : copper, aluminium - Compressed section from 5 up to 55 mm² - Maximum stranded section 70 mm² (if flexible) Cabling : - 2 to 5 insulated conductors - Individual section from 0,75 up to 10 mm² - Max. laid up section 25 mm² (5 x 5 mm²) - Max. cable diameter 16 mm Machine equipped with 4 motors : - One for bow (AC) - One for capstan : DC - One for spool (brushless) - One for traversing (AC) Electronical lay-length control by capstan motor and winding tension control by separate bobbin motor.
