GODDERIDGE 1200 mm Double Twist Stranding Line (Ref : B3SYNS)

This line was designed for bunching & stranding bare wires up to 70 mm² flexible ropes or up to 50 mm² with 7 wires construction. Line is ideal for cabling flexibles bunches. Twisting speed : 1000 tw/min and line speed 120 m/min. Deviation pulleys are 350 mm diameter, with 25 mm groove. This is very good for flex ropes. Product is pulled by a dual wheel capstan of diameter 350 mm, respectively with 4 & 5 round grooves of dia 25 mm. Lay-length is set by gears on capstan and can vary from 25 to 230 mm (25 to 80 mm and 71 to 230 mm) Bobbin is driven from capstan by chain/gears and winding tension is adjusted manually by clutch. The biggest possible take-up bobbin is 1200 mm diameter x 750 mm width (or DIN 1000) Bobbin is taken on shaft 80 mm and loaded from top. Crane and hoist with capacity 1.6 T are available and can be delivered with strander also. Traversing is driven from bobbin shaft and pitch can be set between 1 & 51 mm by changing gears. A stand of pay-offs, braked type, is delivered with the line. Stand can take bobbins max 14 spools dia DIN 630 (OAW 475 mm). Bobbins are taken on shaft dia 127 mm and tension controlled by compensator acting on band brake. Machine is still in very good mechanical shape, because it was used few thousands hours only. This company was making fine and superfine wires mostly and used this machine few days a year. It also includes pay-offs for spools, with dancer control.
