CORTINOVIS Rigid Stranding Line 6+12+18-450 mm, for Sector Straight/Prespiralled (Ref : WCWC2X)

The line has been used in wire mill department for making aluminium & copper strands/conductors. It can take bobbins 450 mm and can produce strand, with configurations 1+6+12+18 in one pass but also (+24(+30(+36))) in several passes, round and sectoral, straight or prespiralled. Each cage is equipped with compacting head with respectively one, two and three pairs of rollers. Line includes central pay-off, cages, compacting heads & capstan. This model of Cortinovis is strong, solid but also versatile with possibilities to run cage in tandem for making strand with construction up to 1+6+12+18+24+30+36. As cages can work in tandem, the line can also be used for screening or SWA with 30 wires. Line is left to right operated. Total length is about 35 m.
