WEBER & SCHER Filling Compound Melting, Holding & Supply System, Model DC 2000 (Ref : RHW3UB)

The DC2000 Filling Compound Melting, Holding and Supply System is designed to melt thermoplastic cable filling compounds and supply them at application temperatures to the various points of consumption on a cable sheathing line. This machine is suitable for use with PJ, PE/PJ and ETPR base filling compounds. Power : 3 x 380 V / 75 kW Melting tank : 1.000 L Holding tank : 2.200 L Compound is supplied to the machine in normal Euro Standard 205 liter slip head drums at room temperature without any pre-conditioning. The compound is dumped from the drum into a melter tank which is arranged to hold the slugs from four drums. When the compound is melted, it transfers to a holding tank where it is maintained at temperature and continuously mixed to ensure a uniform consistency. A transfer/supply pump submerged in the holding tank delivers the compound on demand through heated pipes furnished by others to the points of consumption on the cable line.
